Another wander led to this:

Basically a PR flunky emailed the ANTI-ADVERTISING AGENCY, confusing him with Second Life ’sweatshop’ Double Happiness Jeans (ugly creations ‘assembled’ in SL and shipped out to the real world in paper form, an utterly pointless wasteful endeavour), offering to product-place in a new Pussycat Dolls song.

I always knew this shit happened. I KNEW it. Back in the Nineties when rappers started dropping brand names like Cockneys drop aitches. And this is why there are no Bratz, Playboy, PCD, tweenie, godawful, image-concious, shallow pop-tarts allowed in my house. This is why my daughter gets slagged at school (the same people who make things tough for us because I refuse to christen my son).
Hopefully they’ll understand in a few years’ time when they can holiday abroad and save money for their futures because they weren’t suckered into useless mor-cashing fads. Mmph.

LOL, ya gotta LOL…of all the inboxes, in all the world, Kluger couldn’t have picked worse than AAA!

1. Man against Marketers - September 26, 2008

I used to love AAA, great blogs, i loved what they stood for. Now it seems they are advertising their site more than anyone, i’ve found them doing interviews on this subject for almost 6 dif. sites with links and updates and pageranks. I thought it was the ANTI advertising agency. What a bunch of fuckin hypocritical cocksuckers. Steve Lambert SUCKS!
And product dropping in songs is rediculous.
